If you are traveling by air to the British Crown dependency of Guernsey, you have to book a flight to Guernsey Airport. This airport, however, only services charter and domestic flights. Thus, if you are hailing from a country outside the Great Britain, you’d have to fly in to the United Kingdom and then take a connecting flight or charter plane to Guernsey. Guernsey Airport serves planes coming from and going to London, Rotterdam, Isle of Man, Dundee, and Alderney among a great many other destinations.

For a small island airport, Guernsey Airport is surprisingly well-equipped. There are facilities for physically handicapped passengers. To get from the airport to St. Peter Harbor or other places in the city, you can take the island coach which carries passengers from the terminal to their preferred destinations. At the Guernsey Airport, there are also taxis and limousine services available. Guernsey Airport car hire services may also be procured by going to the Guernsey Airport Concourse and approaching one of the Guernsey Airport car hire desks there. Some of the Guernsey car hire companies that serve the airport are Value Rent-a-Car (an agent of Avis) and Europcar. Car hire services are available everyday from eight in the morning until nine in the evening.
