There aren’t really many things you can do in Gardermoen, Norway. Mostly, it is just a town that houses the Oslo Airport, which is the main international airport in Norway. People stay there if they have a few hours in between their flights. It used to be a military airport which was converted to a commercial one. If you want to rest, you can just go to the different hotels there namely the Gardermoen Hotel B&B, which is just a ten minute ride away from the airport, and the Gardermoen Airport Hotel. However, if you’re up for more of an adventure and if there really is a long time in between your flights, you can get a car hire in Gardermoen Airport and drive to Oslo, which is the capital city of Norway. Or, if you want, you can just go to Eidsvoll, which is much closer to Gardermoen. Eidsvoll is the place where the Norway Constitution was signed, so if you’re up for a little historical adventure, then Eidsvoll would be perfect for you. It is also a lakeside town that looks very picturesque, so if you want to have a sample of some beautiful scenery, then I suggest that you go to Eidsvoll.
