Girona Airport is located just under eight miles from the city of Girona and 57 miles from Barcelona, in the northeast of Spain’s Catalonia. It handles around five million passengers every year, with flights to and from Belgium, the Czech Republic, England, France, Sweden and other parts of Spain, and is seen as an alternative to Barcelona’s main airport.
