Malta, an archipelago in the southern part of Europe is composed mainly of seven islands. Only three of them are inhabited namely, Malta Islands, Comino and Gozo. Malta has been under several foreign nations that has greatly contributed to the history of the island and has also left behind a part of their culture which are evident in the structures found on the islands.
Valletta which is the capital of Malta, has different kinds of architectural design such as Neoclassical, Mannerist and Modern. The city due to its damage from the World War II was included in UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites.

For those who want to be enveloped with nature, drive to the Upper Barakka Gardens where you can also view busts and plaques that tells something of the history of the gardens. Valletta has indeed a rich history where tourists who are fond of searching for ancient structures can definitely have the time of their lives in its streets.
