Just recently, passengers on a British Airways flight were told that they were just about to crash into the sea. This news was given to the passengers after an emergency message was played in error. This, of course, brought a lot of fear to people on the plane who were preparing for the worst.

Reports showed that there were some 275 passengers on the Boeing 747. The reports also go on to say that the people were en route from Heathrow to Hong Kong. During the flight a female voice came on over the PA system and said that this is an emergency. The voice then went on to tell everyone that they will need to make an emergency landing on water.

One of the passengers, Michelle Lord, age 32, said that people on the plane were just terrified. They all thought that they were just moments away from being killed. Another traveler went on to say that they could not think of anything worse than being told that your plane was about to crash.

According to reports, British Airways is investigating the incident. However, they did go on to denied reports that the message was triggered in error by one of the pilots. One spokesman for the company went on to say that the airline wants to apologize to all of the passengers that were on the plane.

As of now it is still not known why this message went off in the cabin. However, the only thing that is known is that the message did go off, and it caused a lot of unnecessary fear for the lives of a lot of people.
