Carrentals.co.uk tops search rankings

The award winning comparison website, Carrentals.co.uk, has stepped up to the mark and come in top in the search listing for the UK market. For the month of September the top three keywords which were ‘car hire,’ ‘car rental’ and car hire UK’ and there were 1.5 million searches made in the UK using these key words. Carrentals managed to gain a 54 per cent stake in this on the first page of the Google search engine.

The report out by Greenlight, who are a search engine marketing firm, analysed the data from across the UK and found the three key words were the most used by the British public. Carrentals.co.uk was seen as the most visible website using those key words and came out on top across the globe by taking 52 per cent of the total visible websites.

“Greenlight’s report highlights the strength of our position online, with our expertise in search engine optimisation positioning us at the forefront of the market. Despite the recession, 2009 has been a great year for us, with our sales outstripping targets across the board,” said the managing director at Carrentals.co.uk, Gareth Robinson.

The past year has been a difficult one for the car hire market with many firms out there not having enough cars for demand through the peak seasons. Carrentals.co.uk has seen marked improvement through the six years they have been operating and the aim to stay on top of people’s search engines for a long time to come.
