It now appears that military personnel are going to get a discount if they fly with easyJet. Just recently it was announced that this carrier was going to offer a substantial concession off excess baggage. However, to take advantage of this new travel deal, the passengers have to be in the military.

easyJet, which is a low-fare airline, has formed a partnership with the Ministry of Defense. This partnership is now going to provide a nice big luggage discount on all domestic and European flights. The good news is that this concession will be applied to all ranks.

For the people who do not know, easyJet actually carries more than 50,000 Ministry of Defense members every single year. Of course, the most popular destinations for these people to fly to is Belfast, Edinburgh, Cyprus, Larnanca, Glasgow, and Gibraltar.

Carolyn McCall, who is easyJet’s chief executive officer, said that this new partnership will deliver huge benefits and cost savings for people in the Ministry of Defense. This should help give them some relief during the current economic climate. Not only that, but it should help deliver a little break to taxpayers as well.

McCall went on to say that their aim is to make travel easy and affordable. This new partnership is the first step towards doing that. Furthermore, the airline would like people to note that this is just one of the steps that the airline plans on taking to reach these goals. More enchantments will be announced in the near future.
