According to recent reports, a worker at the Encantado Resort in Santa Fe has claimed that he was fired for complimenting Jennifer Aniston, who was a guest to the hotel. The worker in question was Terry Siegler. Reports show that Jennifer was staying at the Encantado Resort while she was working on her most recent movie, We’re the Millers.
What some people may not know is the fact that the Encantado Resort has a very strict policy about workers not discussing information about guests with other people. Apparently, Terry was caught talking to other guests about Miss Aniston.
However, Terry did not take this dismissal lightly. In fact, he contacted well-known gossip website TMZ, and told them his story. According to Terry, he only told guests that Jennifer was a very petite person, but very sweet. Terry went on to say that he only talked to other guests about Jennifer when they asked if he had seen her or not. Even then, the discussions were always brief.
So this just begs the question: How did he get caught? Apparently, one of Jennifer’s entourage overheard guests discussing the very brief conversation that they had with Terry. When this was brought to the attention of the hotel, they simply could not let it go.
The general manager of the hotel, who was not named, talked to TMZ as well. Apparently, he was unable to confirm anything about his employees. However, he did say that they have a very strict confidentiality policy that each employee signs when hired. This is a policy that they take very seriously.
