According to Greek authorities, a small 12-year-old boy from Russia was stabbed 20 times. Apparently the attack on the boy happened while he was on holiday with his family in Crete. Allegedly the attacker was a Dutchman working as an entertainer at Mitsis Laguna Resort and Spa, where the boy and his family were staying.

After the attack, the boy was found and airlifted to Athens via a military plane. The last update on the boy’s condition came on Wednesday. At this time, he was still in the hospital in serious condition. The medical examiner did say that the boy suffered at least 20 stab wounds in different areas of the body.

The good news is that the hospital where he is being treated says that, although his condition is very serious, it should not be life-threatening. Despite the fact that he was stabbed at least 20 times, he should still live.

The Dutch entertainer is said to be 20 years old. For the time being, his name is not being released to the press. Police have currently arrested him on attempted murder charges. They also said that it was the boy’s mother who sounded the alarm when her child went missing on Tuesday.

After the five-star hotel failed to find the boy, they called in the police, who searched the area. They finally found the bloody body of the boy around 2.a.m. He was lying behind some piping in a building at the end of the parking lot close to the hotel.

Police went on to say that the Dutchman had taken the boy’s laptop and mobile phone from the hotel earlier that evening. The investigation went on to say that the boy tracked the man who stole his items down. At this point the man led the boy to a parking lot and stabbed him at least 20 times before leaving him for dead.

How far is an airline willing to go to draw in new consumers? Well Spring Airlines is willing to turn its flight attendants into maids and butlers. These new outfits were revealed by the company as part of its new uniform lineup. So far, the airline has received mixed views on this method.

In places like the UK and the United States, people have been very critical. They feel that it shows the airline’s lack of respect for its flight crew. People have taken to social media sites, like Facebook and Twitter, to show their feelings on the matter. The truth is, however, this is really just a culture difference.

In the UK, dressing someone up as a maid is not very common. However, in places like China and Japan, it is more common than what some may think. In Japan, maid cafes are extremely popular. When people visit Japan, these cafes are popular tourist attractions. It is a different lifestyle and a different culture.

Some unions, however, do feel like the outfits are placing too much focus on being “sexy.” These unions, which represent the flight crew members of Spring Airlines, said that their job does not entail being sexy. It’s to serve passengers and keep them safe. Their ability to keep consumers safe may be in jeopardy if they are forced to wear high heels to work. Consumer safety must always come first. Anything that prevents them or hinders them from doing their job correctly should not be allowed on the plane. This includes outfits that might be too restrictive.

Car hire company Hertz has recently agreed to buy a big 20% holding in China Auto Rental. This new deal, of course, helps Hertz with its strategy to continue to boost its offering in China. Many car firms are looking to do this, as China is becoming a huge market. Also, car rental firms are dealing with slowing demand in many western economies. With China growing so quickly, it is hard for this area not to look promising.

Thanks to this new deal, China Auto Rental will get a new license to work on Hertz’s behalf in China. To start with, this deal will only last 5 years. At the end of this, the companies will have a chance to sit down and renew the deal if they see fit.

Currently, China Auto Rental is one of China’s biggest car hire firms. It has been experiencing very rapid growth over the years. Ever since it first opened in 2007, the company has grown its presence all over the country. Now, China Auto Rental can be found in more than 66 cities all over China. The firm caters to over one million consumers.

Hertz Chief Executive Mark Frissora said that China Auto Rental has really been able to expand its presence in China. This new deal has provided Hertz with the chance to really expand its presences in one of the world’s fastest growing economies. The company as a whole sees this as a great partnership.

Well, it seems like it has finally happened. A small island airline has now started charging people by weight. This carrier, which is known as Samoa Air, is usually used for hopping islands in the South Pacific. All of the passengers will pay a fixed price per kilogram. This weight scheme varies depending on the length of the route. Since the airline uses small planes, charging by weight seems to make the most sense.

Chris Langton, who is a member of Samoa Air, said that they have been actually receiving a lot of positive feedback about this new scheme. For example, families love it. Kids are able to get their own seats without having to pay full price, because they don’t weight as much as an adult. In short, a lot of people are paying less for their flights, because they weigh less.

Chris noted that a family with two adults and two young kids can actually travel for a considerably less amount than what they use to travel for. This is great because a lot of families use this service, and this is saving them money.

Other reports show that the rate that people are charged per kilogram differs depending on the flight distance. For example, a short flight may see people charged only $1 per kilogram. However, a longer flight may see the same people charged $4.16 per kilogram for travel.

People have to put their weight in online when they book their ticket. However, these passengers will be weighed again when they get to the airport. This is to keep people from lying about their weight and trying to give themselves a discount.

Sometimes it can be hard to get things onto a plane. In fact, ever since 9/11, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has been cracking down on the items allowed to be taken on planes. In some cases, women have been told that they could not bring a nail file onto a plane. Those days now seem to be disappearing thanks to a new policy introduced by the TSA.

Starting April 25, people will be allowed to bring small knives onto airplanes. This is a new move being allowed by the TSA, and they have been under a lot of criticism for it. To start with, a number of stakeholders in big airlines were supporting this relaxation of the rules. At the very least, they didn’t strongly resist the idea. However, now that the move has been approve, strong opposition has popped up everywhere.

The first question is: Why are people now opposed to this new rule? Why didn’t they say anything about it before? According to experts, the groups that are now against this new idea didn’t think that it had any chance at all of being put into effect. After what happen on 9/11, why would the TSA allow people to bring knifes on board?

The two groups that are most opposed to this decision are the Association of Flight Attendants and the Association of Professional Flight Attendants. Members of these groups say that they have to be on the plane with passengers who are now allowed to carry knives. It is just asking for trouble and putting flight attendants at risk.

Despite its best efforts, Iberia just can’t seem to get itself away from the employee strikes that are taking place. Now the airline is dealing with its second week of strikes, which started Monday of this week. Already the airline has been forced to cancel some 1,300 flights. The good news is, most of the passengers that would have been affected by these strikes, have been moved to other flights that are heading to the same destinations.

The strikes are being performed by the airline’s cabin crew, ground crew and pilots. These workers are striking in retaliation of the airline’s plans to lay off more than 3,800 employees. This is the same as laying off close to 20% of the airline’s entire workforce. Not only that, but the workers who are not cut will find their salaries cut.

Of course, Iberia really doesn’t have a choice but to make these cuts. This is because the airline is doing everything in its power to reduce its losses. Just last year, the airline lost close to $350 million. If something isn’t done to stop these loses, there won’t be an airline to work for anyway.

So far, the airline has been able to relocate close to 38,000 passengers on other flights. The passengers that could not be placed on other flights are being offered refunds. It is believed that close to 2,000 people had to receive refunds, as they could not be relocated to other flights. It is not yet known how much this figure will increase as the strike carries on.

A heist that took place at Brussels Airport resulted in $50 million worth of diamonds being stolen. Apparently the thieves were masquerading as police officers. The men simply took to the airport’s tarmac Monday night and then proceeded to steal loads of diamonds that had been set to fly for Switzerland.

Officers say that the diamonds that were stolen were both cut and rough diamonds. These diamonds arrived at Brussels Airport from Antwerp. This city is the largest diamond trading center in the world. This was a fact that the thieves more than likely knew, and that is why they choose to hit Brussels Airport.

The diamonds themselves were supposed to be flown out of the city on a flight to Zurich. It is interesting to note that the diamonds were going to be transported on a regular passenger flight. Zurich is a very important transfer point for most diamond business.

The airline that was targeted during the theft, Helvetic Airways, is an independent airline from Switzerland. They are saying that it is usually the duty of the airport and the security firm hired to move the shipment to guard valuable cargo. However, the airline refused to comment any further on this matter.

It’s not known just how the thieves got to the diamonds, but it is believed that they took advantage of a very small gap in security. This may have been during a shift change or when the diamonds were supposed to be loaded onto the plane.

The travel market is not what it used to be, or at least that is what some travel groups have been saying. However, Minoan Group is here to prove them wrong. In fact, they have just recently reported a very nice increase in performance for their travel business.

This firm, which is based in Glasgow, has released a statement saying that their revenues should be more than £37 million. Operating profits should stand at around £400,000 for the year to the end of October 2012. The final figures should be in soon.

When compared to the previous year, this is a huge improvement. That is because last year the company lost more than £1.6 million. Of course, it is worth noting that this loss was helped out by the company buying out several travel businesses. A move that now seems to be paying off for the company.

Last year, the company was flexing its muscle and following a buy and build strategy. This led the company to buying such names as John Semple Travel, Stewart Travel, Ski Travel Center, and even King World Travel. Now, according to Minoan, its cash balance remains at a very healthy level and things are starting to look up.

Now the real question will be if Minoan can continue this strong performance. Many other travel groups are starting to bounce back as the economy slowly recovers. With more people looking to travel again, more companies are going to start getting competitive. It is likely that Minoan may be looking at losing some of the huge share of consumers they just recently enjoyed.

Back in October of 2011, a charter plane went down on an active street close to Vancouver International Airport. Six of the passengers who were on that plane are suing the carrier for damages now. This is the same plane crash that led to the death of the pilot and co-pilot.

Reports show that several of the passengers who were aboard the plane were hurt when a Beechcraft King Air 100 crash landed on Russ Baker Way. When the plane came crashing down, it slid across the road, then erupted into flames.

The good news was the fact that all seven passengers who were on this charter flight were rescued. Despite there being seven passengers, only six of them have chosen to sue for damages received against Northern Thunderbird Air.

According to reports, the lawsuit apparently claims that the passengers on the flight noticed the presence of oil under the aircraft wing before they took off. They reported this to the crew, but the crew continued to board the plane anyway. After that, the plane departed as if nothing was wrong.

However, very soon after takeoff, the captain announced that they would have to return to YVR because of an oil issue. At this point, the passengers were able to see a stream of oil leaking out of the left engine of the King Air 100 plane.

Reports from the Transportation Safety Board said that the plane had hit a lamppost and a car before it slammed into the road and caught fire. Passengers are now saying that negligence on the part of Northern Thunderbird Air was the reason for the crash.

According to new reports, Network Rail is likely to pay close to £33 million in costs to its own workers for rail journeys over the past two years. Of course, if passengers are thinking this has nothing to do with them, they couldn’t be more wrong. Network Rail went on to say that they are also going to increase their fares for passengers.

This huge sum of money equals out to around £980 for each of Network Rail’s 34,000 employees. Network Rail was forced to pay this after MP John Redwood, a former Cabinet minister, said that he was going to ensure Network Rail is held “accountable” for its actions.

He went on to say that any kind of talks about the current train fare increase would not be complete without first analyzing the position and foreign borrowings of the current leading rail company, which is under public ownership.

Network Rail responded to this by saying that they used the derivatives in order to hedge the obligation taken on by different businesses to fund much needed investments. Network Rail went on to point out that they have recorded a gain on the worth of its derivative position during the most recent financial result.

Either way, commuters are now looking at the tenth year in a row of fare increases. Mostly, this increase in fares will be used to help Network Rail fund upgrades to its rail lines. This goes double for its aging network infrastructure.
