Italian Court Not Impressed By Topless Sunbathing Complaint

When people travel to Italy, they know that some of the beaches there are topless. This could have been one of the main reasons why the Italian court has just recently thrown out a compliant by a mother who said that her younger sons were “troubled” by the sight of busty young women applying suntan lotion to themselves on the beach.

The whole court took just a few minutes before completely reject the case. In this case, the mother of the two sons accused the 26-year-old woman of committing obscene acts in public places. Police had been called to the area after a fight broke out earlier this month on a beach near Anzio.

The mother had apparently asked a fashion store assistant, who was only identified as Luisa, to cover herself up because her large breasts and the act of rubbing cream on them had troubled her sons, ages 14 and 12.

The lawyer of the young woman said that he never had any doubt that the accusations of obscene behavior was without substance. He said that the the act of sunbathing topless in public is not illegal on Italian beaches. It was also not the fault of his client that she has large breasts. Her right to sunbath topless still stands.

Lusia said that she was very happy with the court’s decision. She said that this was a victory for common sense. She then noted that she was just about to head on a holiday to Greece, where she would continue to sunbathe topless.

It may not come as a shock to anyone here, but some experts are suggesting that it was not the teenage kids that had a problem with the big chested woman rubbing lotion on herself. Reports are now suggesting that it was indeed the mother that was upset with the large-boobed women. Who would have guessed it?
