A lot of people know British singer Sarah Brightman because she was able to start what is now known as the classical crossover genre. However, most people do not think of her as a space traveler. That may all soon change.

Recently, it has been made public that Sarah Brightman will be a space tourist to the International Space Station. This will make her the seventh space tourist to ever visit this space station. Apparently, she is going to be one of a three-person crew that will be flying up to this space station. Of course, this trip to outer space will not start until she finishes her tour in 2013.

When she has finished her tour, she will start six months of preparation to get ready to go to outer space. Apparently, she is going to be doing her training at the Star City training center that is located in Moscow.

Once she gets up there, she intends to make history by being the very first professional to ever sing from space. When talking in Moscow about her trip, Sarah said that this voyage is a product of her dreams. She is more excited about this than anything that she has ever done in her life.

There is nothing holding Sarah back. In fact, the head of the International Space Station program, Alexey Krasnov, said that Sarah has been able to pass all the required physical and mental examinations to fly into space. Now, she just has to do her training, and she will be on her way.
