Travelodge Opens New Hotel in Bromborough

It seems that Travelodge has just recently opened its very first hotel in Bromborough. This new hotel is said to be worth more than £2.3 million and will create at least 10 new jobs in the area. Right now, due to the way the economy has been, anything that brings more jobs to an area is good.

This hotel, which has 60 rooms, is located on Pool Land and worked with JobCenter Plus in order to recruit long term unemployed applicants. This is Travelodge’s way of giving a little something back to people who have been waiting the longest for it.

The hotel is placed in a very strategic location. It is close to Wirral International Business Park and other multi-national companies. This should allow the hotel to easily tap into the market in Bromborough.

Ksenija Solovjova, who is the hotel manager for this new hotel, said that he is extremely proud to be given the opportunity to run Bromborough’s first Travelodge. Given the pressure on finances, there is a real demand for low cost accommodations in the area. This is something that Travelodge can provide.

Travelodge says that if, on average, guests spend about £36 a day in the local community, then Bromborough could be looking at an extra £788,400 boost to its economy each year. However, it is likely that a lot of guests will spend over this amount, as they will be eating, sleeping and finding things to do in Bromborough during their stay. All of this will have a positive effect on Bromborough’s economy and could, over time, lead to even more jobs.
