What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. Keep in mind that the local rental company will reserve a certain amount on your credit card as a deposit. This requires the PIN code for your credit card. I was hesitant to book

I was hesitant to book a car from Unirent as I have no previous experience with them, and I prefer to use well known car hire companies because of issues I have had using less well known companies in the past. It worked out fine however because all my dealings at the airport where with Eurocar and I don’t really understand the reasoning behind the Unirent brand especially as I was in two minds not to book a car from them and choose and alternative brand instead.

Surprisingly, there is so much to do in such a small island like Corsica. The largest town in Corsica, Ajaccio, is Napoleon Bonaparte's birthplace. It offers so much for the curious traveler. There are museums which tell you so much about history (this includes the Municipal Library and the Fesch Museum), there are restaurants and bars which will surely give you a taste of the Corsican flavor, and there are fun discos that will certainly allow you to experience the Corsican night life in Roi de Rome. In Campinchi Square, you can also get fresh produce and delicacies in its farmer's market that is open every morning. Oh, and do not miss the beautiful beach, Plage du Ricanto, if you want to venture a bit out of town (it is located about 6 kilometers out of town).
