There are three terminals, with the newer Terminal 3 having the best facilities. It has currency exchange and ATMs (as do terminals 1 and 2), along with a huge food hall, chain restaurants, and well-known shops for duty-free. Wi-Fi is available through Moviestar which is charged by the hour. However, if you use the VIP lounges they have PC's with free internet access.

Driving

While having a car is a must to explore the coast, it is not recommended for getting around Malaga city itself, where streets are tight and congested. Elsewhere, road conditions are good, with the notoriously busy Costa del Sol coastal road having been supplemented by a modern highway.

Malaga airport gives you great access to all resorts and attractions on the Costa del Sol. Running 100 miles along the Mediterranean coast it is famous for its sunshine, beaches and beautiful towns. There is something here for everyone. From visiting Alcazaba, an Arabic Fortress, or Picasso's Museum in Malaga to taking on the rides at Tivoli World, one of many theme parks in the area. With the backdrop of beautiful mountain scenery and eye-popping views along the way Granada and Gibraltar can both be reached in less than 2 hours.

Best Time to Visit

You don't need to plan the time of your visit to this region of Spain too carefully, as the weather is always nice, with the average annual temperature 23°C. While most tourists savour the July to August summer holidays, visiting anytime between April and September is nice, with averages in the upper 20s (°C). You can always drive to the mountains for respite from the heat in the summer.
