Almeria enjoys a sub-tropical climate and it is possible to visit the city throughout the year. However, the summer is the peak tourist season with many Germans and Brits heading down to the southern coast of Spain. Temperatures during July and August can reach 30°C but rarely get higher than that, with evening temperatures staying just below 20°C.
