What do I need to do when picking up a car?

To pick up your car, you will need your voucher, passport, driver's license and a credit card. It is very important that your driver's license and credit card are in the same name as the main driver. The link between compare car

The link between compare car hire and Europcar did not seem robust. Having made a booking the desk at our destination seemed unsure how to process the information. The subsequent email informing us that no car was available, even though we had already collected it, just added to our impression that it would probably be better to book direct rather than through a comparison website.

I was hesitant to book a car from Unirent as I have no previous experience with them, and I prefer to use well known car hire companies because of issues I have had using less well known companies in the past. It worked out fine however because all my dealings at the airport where with Eurocar and I don’t really understand the reasoning behind the Unirent brand especially as I was in two minds not to book a car from them and choose and alternative brand instead.
